BellaCat - Offline Music Player (“the App”) is a fully local music player. Your songs, playlists, settings, and cached artwork stay on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information.
To process monthly/annual subscriptions or lifetime unlock via Apple StoreKit2, we must receive limited purchase data from Apple to verify your payment and activate premium features. See Section 8 below for details.
The App works without creating an account, so for local playback we have zero knowledge of your name, e-mail, Apple-ID, phone number, or any other identifier. Exception: When you make a purchase, Apple handles authentication using your Apple ID. We do not receive your Apple ID credentials, but we receive an anonymous transaction ID to verify the purchase.
The App contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or social-media SDKs, and makes no network requests for playback features. Exception: All purchases are processed by Apple StoreKit2. When you buy a subscription or lifetime unlock, the App communicates with Apple's servers to verify the transaction. This is the only network activity in the App.
To play your songs, the App requests read-only access to local files and folders. Permission can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Files & Folders. We do not modify or delete any files unless you explicitly confirm an action inside the App.
Everything the App creates (playlists, favorites, settings, cached images) is stored locally inside its sandbox. Deleting the App wipes this data instantly.
The App temporarily receives transaction information from Apple to verify purchases. We do not store any purchase data, and temporary tokens are deleted when you uninstall the App.
The App is compliant with COPPA and GDPR-K: No data is collected for local playback. Purchases require an adult Apple ID and are governed by Apple's Family Sharing policies.
If we ever add an optional cloud feature, we will update this page and prompt you in-app before any data leaves your device. The latest version is always available inside More → About → Privacy Policy.
